After a resident approached me to raise concerns regarding the safety of the School Zone at Salisbury State School, I made representations on their behalf to Council. I was pleased to receive the advice that Council will install an additional School Zone threshold at the sign located to the north of the roundabout with Lillian Ave. This will reinforce and highlight to motorists the presence of the school and be mindful of their speeds during school peak periods.
I’m pleased to have achieved this outcome which will enhance the safety for children at Salisbury State School!
