DESCRIPTION:Rocklea residents are invited to an information session Thursday 12 September from 10-11am at Sundays Coffee House\, 59 Brooke St\, Rocklea\, to discuss the installation of new fitness node in Freney Street Park\, Rocklea. \nThere have been numerous requests for park fitness equipment in the local area.  The design will include static and moveable pieces as well as a shade structure.  It will be located on the Bale Street side of the current play equipment. \nIf you would like to ask questions about the prosed design\, please drop by as I’m keen to learn what you think.  Alternatively if you are unable to attend and would still like to provide feedback please email the Moorooka Ward Office via moorooka.ward@bcc.qld.gov.au by Friday 13 September.

DESCRIPTION:I am pleased to advise that I have secured funding to install a new bike jump track in Salisbury Recreation Reserve. The bike jump track will cater to beginner\, intermediate and expert BMX riders and is positioned in an area away from homes\, but visible from Evans Road. \nThe bike jump track has come after I was contacted by a number of young BMX riders and their parents.  I have involved them in the development of the design\, along with Council and bike track experts. \nResidents are invited to an information session Thursday 12 September from 4-5pm to discuss the new bike jump track in the Salisbury Recreational Reserve (near the cricket nets). This is your opportunity to ask any questions about the proposed design and I welcome your feedback. \nTo view the concept plans please visit here. \nIf you are unable to attend and would still like to provide feedback\, please email my office via moorooka.ward@bcc.qld.gov.au by Friday 13 September.
