I am pleased to advise that I have secured funding to install a new bike jump track in Salisbury Recreation Reserve. The bike jump track will cater to beginner, intermediate and expert BMX riders and is positioned in an area away from homes, but visible from Evans Road.
The bike jump track has come after I was contacted by a number of young BMX riders and their parents. I have involved them in the development of the design, along with Council and bike track experts.
Residents are invited to an information session Thursday 12 September from 4-5pm to discuss the new bike jump track in the Salisbury Recreational Reserve (near the cricket nets). This is your opportunity to ask any questions about the proposed design and I welcome your feedback.

If you are unable to attend and would still like to provide feedback, please email my office via moorooka.ward@bcc.qld.gov.au by Friday 13 September.
