I recently visited the The Murri School’s Native Gardens and was pleased to support this fantastic project through a donation of native plants.
During the visit, I joined the Young Rangers and Early Years students in planting the new additions to the garden and learning more about the role native vegetation plays in supporting local wildlife and caring for Country.
It was encouraging to see students so engaged in hands-on environmental learning. School-based projects like this provide valuable opportunities for young people to connect with nature while helping to create greener and more sustainable communities.
Thank you to the students, staff and volunteers for their warm welcome and dedication to the Native Gardens. I look forward to seeing the space continue to grow as a place of learning, connection and respect for Country.
